Celebrate MCDS: Vegas Nights Q & A

What is Celebrate MCDS?

Celebrate MCDS is the school’s largest annual event which brings our community together for an evening of celebration and fundraising for MCDS. The proceeds from Celebrate directly support the MCDS operating budget. It is not a fancy to-do, but rather a come-as you-are celebration for everyone. This year’s theme for Celebrate  is “Vegas Nights.”

What is Vegas Nights?

An evening of food, drinks, merriment, live entertainment, gaming, and dancing. Test your skill and luck at Blackjack, Texas Hold'em, Craps and Roulette. Not sure how to play? No problem; our professional dealers will teach you. Money is not required to play. If you win, you get a ticket to vie for several great raffle prizes. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and desserts. A cash bar serving wine, beer, and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be open. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening. Golden Ticket raffle tickets will be also available.  

Where is Celebrate MCDS being held?

Although this event grows every year, we keep the festivities on our campus. In doing so we keep event costs down. Come to Vegas (also known as the MCDS Gym)  for delicious food and drink, live music, casino games, a live auction, paper bidding, the drawing of the (Really) Golden Ticket, and Fund-A-Need.

I am interested in attending. What are my options?

You can purchase individual ticket(s) and and opt for open seating at a table. Or, gather together a group of 8 and buy a reserved table. Ticket quantity is limited.

Each ticket includes:

• Fun Money to play on over 15 Professional Casino Game Tables

• Heavy Hors d'oeuvres and desserts

• Your first drink on us (assorted beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverages)
   

What do I wear?

Be comfortable!  Dress up, dress down, or come in costume!
